The Gripwell gives the operator an advantage in CQB over the "traditional" vertical foregrip. This is accomplished by using a super tight vertical grip which produce a natural tendency to keep the elbow in tight. This in turn keeps the operator small and from making accidental contact with other entry team members or hitting objects causing an accidental "sweeping" of a team mate.

The flared enlarged magwell opening allows for much faster reloads in daytime and especially in low light conditions where the magazine is loaded by feel.

The Tactical Magwell Gripwell attaches to standard forged AR-15 lower receivers, it will not fit billet receivers or any non-standard forged receivers. Most mag couplers will work with the Gripwell as long as they are kept toward the bottom of the magazines.

The Gripwell™ is made from high impact ABS polymer. The Grip is attached using three 8-32 socket head cap screws. The threads that the screws attach to are cast in brass inserts, this eliminates the possibility of loosing a nut in the field. Each socket head cap screw is tightened down and held in place by a lock washer. This is done again to eliminate the possibility of loosing a screw in the field.
